AZIZ HALIM KHAIR CHOUDHURY (AHKC), Chartered Accountants was established on 1^st July, 1979 vide Reg. No. 23556/79 under the name and style AZIZ HALIM & CO., Charterd Accountants with Mr. ABM Azizuddin FCA and MR. M A Halim Gaznavi FCA as its founder partners. The firm was renamed as AZIZ HALIM AFZAL & CO., Chartered Accountants with effect from 1^st March 1986. The firm name was again changed to AZIZ HALIM ANWAR & CO. , Chartered Accountants with effect from 1^st July, 1993. The firm name was changed to AZIZ HALIM ANWAR KHAIR & CO., Chartered Accountants with effect from 15 June 2004. Finally the firm name was changed to AZIZ HALIM KHAIR CHOUDHURY, Chartered Accountants with effect from 18 July 2005.

AHKC has 4 (four) corporate and branch offices. The corporate office of the firm is located at “Baitul Mesbah” Building # 2 (3rd & 4th floor), House # 79, Road # 12/A, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1209. The branch offices are located at Dhaka (Baridhara), Dhaka (Uttara) and Chittagong (East Nasirabad).

At present AHKC has eight partners with cumulative experiences of over 80 years in the fields of auditing, accounting, investigation, taxation, secretarial services, corporate finance, management consultancy, information technology, consultancy in public offering and fund raising, feasibility and market study etc.

	Bangladesh Bank in “A” Category
	The Royal Danish Embassy in Bangladesh for auditing DANIDA projects being implemented throughout the country.
	The Regional Inspector General of USAID in Manila in 2001 to conduct audit of USA Funded Projects in Bangladesh.
	European Economic Community (EEC), Dhaka and engaged in auditing 4(four) different large scale projects funded by them in bulk through (a) Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB), Dhaka (b) Bangladesh Tea Board (BTB), Chittagong having two projects and (c) Institute of Integrated Rural Development (IIRD), Dhaka.
	Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Dhaka and is engaged in auditing of various companies under Securities and Exchange Rules.
	Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation (PKSF), Dhaka for auditing PKSF PNGOs working across the country having been appointed by PNGOs.
